Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the corporate website at jahaninternational.com.tr. The site is a showcase that collects quotation requests: there is no membership, no shopping cart, no online payment and no order tracking.

2. What we collect

Personal data is collected only when you complete a form: the quotation request and the sourcing request forms. The full list of fields, the purposes and the legal grounds are set out in the Privacy Notice.

If you only browse the site, your name, e-mail address and telephone number are neither requested nor collected.

3. Cookies and local storage

The site uses only functional cookies: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie that remembers your language preference. Staff who sign in to the admin panel also get a session cookie; visitors do not.

No advertising, tracking or profiling cookies are used, and no third-party cookies are placed.

The following are kept in your browser’s local storage. These are not cookies and are not sent to the server:

• Your analytics consent: your answer, the date of consent and the text version
• Your theme preference: light or dark appearance
• Your quotation list: a temporary list that stays with you until the form is submitted

All of these are deleted when you clear your browser data.

4. Visit statistics

Visit statistics are produced with open-source, cookie-free analytics software. Analytics runs only if you consent; if you do not, the script is never loaded. No person-level records are kept and no IP address is stored. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Your IP address

Your IP address is not written to the database. It is processed momentarily during form submission to prevent abuse (repeated submissions from the same address) and held temporarily in server memory; it is lost when the server restarts.

Your information is never sold or transferred to third parties for marketing.

Your data is not transferred abroad: the server, the database and e-mail delivery are all in Türkiye.

7. Retention period

Information you send through the forms is kept for 10 years, in line with the retention obligation for commercial books and records under the Turkish Commercial Code; at the end of that period it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Security

• The site and form submissions are transmitted encrypted over HTTPS.
• Browser security headers are applied: content security policy, HSTS and clickjacking protection.
• The admin session cookie cannot be read by JavaScript.
• The type of any file you upload is verified from the file content; files with a changed extension are rejected.
• Because no payment is taken on the site, card and bank details are never collected or stored.

This policy may be updated. The effective date of the current version is shown at the bottom of the page.
