Company Profile
Jahan International is a foreign trade company founded in Istanbul in 2023. Two business lines run side by side: we supply products brought in from overseas producers to industrial customers in Türkiye, and we source the goods a buyer describes through our supplier network, handling the shipment including third-country trade and bonded warehouse procedures. Our customers are not end consumers but industrial buyers, importers and wholesalers.
Experience & Corridors
We work regularly on four trade corridors: copper and aluminium raw material from Iran to Türkiye (conductor material for the cable industry), abrasives and consumables from Türkiye to Iran (cutting and grinding discs), paper and board from Türkiye to Iran, and agricultural machinery from Iran to Sudan and the Middle East–Africa market. Transport runs by road under TIR carnet; transit procedure, bonded warehousing and letter-of-credit payment are routine parts of these routes.
Our Story
It started in 2019 with a gap on the Iran–Türkiye line: buyers on both sides could not reach a supplier they were able to trust; when they did, the payment channel was blocked; and the broker in between did not know the technical side of the goods, so the wrong material was shipped. The first job was completed that same year: 600 tonnes of Bristol board from Türkiye to Iran. Jahan International was founded in Istanbul in 2023, bringing work that had been handled shipment by shipment under one roof.
We still do those same three things ourselves: we find the producer, we run the payment and paperwork side (letter of credit, cash against documents, transit regime, bonded warehouse), and we know the goods technically — we do not quote before diameter, purity, grammage and HS code have been discussed. The structure is lean: the buyer speaks directly with the person who decides, with no approval chain in between. We give price and lead time plainly and realistically.
For the coming period our goal is not new markets but greater volume in the Iran–Türkiye corridor: larger and more regular shipments in copper, aluminium, paper and abrasives.
